Erin’s sister, Sara Foster, brought this up on a recent podcast episode, referring to a news article about their past relationships.
Sara read out a part of the article that mentioned the alleged cheating incident, and Erin confirmed that it did happen. She stated, “Yeah, he definitely did cheat on me with her in a pretty bad way.” Erin also humorously mentioned that this all occurred while they were living together, saying, “Pretty cool.”
It’s worth noting that Chad Michael Murray later married Sophia Bush in 2005, but their marriage only lasted for five months.
Sophia later revealed that she felt pressured to marry Chad, the actor from “Cinderella Story.” In 2018, she spoke to Andy Cohen on his radio show, explaining that marriage wasn’t something she truly wanted at the time.
She explained that she was just starting her acting career and wasn’t actively seeking a relationship. Sophia had originally planned to wait until her 30s to settle down. She wrote in Cosmopolitan in 2017 that even though she wasn’t looking for a serious relationship, things became significant when the person she was with proposed marriage. She thought it must be happening for a reason.
The 41-year-old Erin shared that she didn’t want one past relationship to define her. This is why she tried to avoid talking about it for ten years. She explained that it was a significant event in her life, and the pain was made worse by how it became widely known. This was quite unusual for her because just two years before that, she was a regular college student.
Sophia, who has mentioned that she can’t discuss Chad publicly anymore, later got married to Grant Hughes in 2022. However, by August 2023, their relationship had come to an end as she filed for divorce.
She has now been reported to be dating soccer player Ashlyn Harris. It’s worth mentioning that Ashlyn is also going through a divorce from another sports star, Ali Krieger.
Ali made a mysterious reference to possible infidelity in an Instagram post on October 19. She mentioned that she’s “preparing for playoffs while in my Beyonce lemonade era,” which might suggest some relationship issues.
