On October 24th, South Korean news outlet JTBC reported that Jisoo and Ahn Bo-hyun have decided to end their highly publicized relationship, just two months after confirming their romantic involvement.
JTBC’s report indicates that the couple naturally grew apart due to their busy schedules, leading to their breakup. An industry insider cited by Soompi provided this information.

YG Entertainment, the agency representing Jisoo, has subsequently affirmed JTBC’s report in a statement to Sports Chosun, confirming the separation between Jisoo and Ahn Bo-hyun. “It is indeed true that Jisoo and Ahn Bo-hyun have parted ways,” said the K-pop company.
In early August, the South Korean news publication Dispatch had initially reported that Jisoo and Ahn Bo-hyun had just initiated their romantic relationship and were in the process of getting to know each other, fostering positive emotions. This report received confirmation from both Jisoo’s agency, YG Entertainment, and Ahn’s agency, FN Entertainment.
Jisoo gained immense popularity as a member of the K-pop girl group BLACKPINK, where she joined forces with Rosé, Jennie, and Lisa. Earlier this year, she marked her solo debut with the highly anticipated single ‘Flower,’ becoming the last BLACKPINK member to embark on a solo career.
Conversely, Ahn Bo-hyun made his acting debut in 2014 and has since taken on prominent roles in various popular K-dramas. This includes his breakthrough performance as the antagonistic Jang Geun-won in the 2020 series ‘Itaewon Class’ and a leading role in tvN’s romance drama ‘Yumi’s Cells,’ among others.
