The latest season of the Big Brother revival has introduced its 16 housemates, though there’s a bit of a twist. On the show’s official social media account, they shared a thread featuring close-up shots of the contestants’ eyes as a nod to the iconic Big Brother logo. It’s worth noting that additional housemates might join the group as the season unfolds.

In preparation for their roles as hosts, AJ Odudu, the new presenter, and her co-host Will Best, shared in an interview with Metro that they both shed a few tears during their auditions, as they followed in the footsteps of former host Davina McCall.
Odudu explained, “During the audition, we were required to perform various tasks. We had to deliver a welcoming message, simulate presenting the show, conduct an eviction interview, and even watch clips. It was quite an intense process.”
One of the clips they watched featured the moment when Cameron Cole, the winner of Big Brother 2018, came out as gay to his fellow housemates.
“We were deeply moved by that particular clip, and both of us ended up shedding tears,” Odudu confessed. She recounted Will’s reaction, saying, “I remember Will messaging me afterward, expressing concern that he might have messed up the audition by crying. I felt the same way, thinking, ‘Why were we both crying during an audition? We’re trying to secure a job, and here we are sobbing! It’s quite bizarre.'”
They both shared a lighthearted moment, with Odudu joking, “We definitely dropped the ball on that one.”
On Hits Radio, Davina McCall expressed her desire to make a cameo appearance in this year’s Big Brother reboot. She mentioned that she’d like to appear just once and then watch the show from her sofa. Her idea is to start the show by saying her iconic catchphrase, “Hey, fancy another one?”
