Netflix’s “The Lincoln Lawyer” Season 2 has topped the English-Language TV chart, gaining massive popularity after Part one was released on July 6. In the viewing window from July 10 to 16, the first half of the season received 8.3 million total views and was watched for a total of 35.3 million hours. Netflix now shares total views data on their top 10 chart, which is calculated by dividing the hours viewed by the show’s total runtime (4.14 hours in this case). Season 1 also made it to the list, ranking No. 5 with 3.4 million total views. The second half of Season 2 is set to release on August 3, which could boost the show’s popularity even more next month.
Meanwhile, “The Witcher” Season 3 dominated the top spot for two weeks straight after its debut on June 29. During the viewing window from June 26 to July 2, the new season garnered an impressive 15.2 million total views. Both Seasons 1 and 2 also made a comeback in the Top 10 list, with Season 1 at No. 6 (2.6 million views) and Season 2 at No. 7 (2.4 million views) as fans revisited or discovered Geralt, Ciri, and Yennefer’s epic journey. This week, “The Witcher” Season 3 ranked No. 2 with 6.7 million total views and 32.1 million hours viewed, spanning a runtime of 4.49 hours. However, unlike the previous week, the earlier seasons didn’t make it to this week’s top tally.
In its second week among the top 10, the series “Fatal Seduction” came in third place with a total of 6.6 million views. The show has a runtime of 3.46 hours and was watched for a total of 24.8 million hours, which pushed it just ahead of the debut of “Survival of the Thickest.” During its first four days of availability, “Survival of the Thickest” received 3.7 million total views and 13.3 million hours watched, with a runtime of 3.36 hours. This is a strong start for the comedian’s TV adaptation of her 2020 memoir, and it’s expected to gain more popularity in the upcoming weeks.
The latter half of the chart is dominated by unscripted titles. “Quarterback” secured the sixth place, surpassing “Too Hot to Handle” Season 5 with 3.3 million total views and 21.4 million hours watched. The documentary series’ first season has a runtime of 6.26 hours, which is nearly double the time of “Too Hot to Handle’s” first four episodes. However, the reality dating competition recorded 2.8 million total views in its first three days of availability. As more episodes are released over the next two Fridays, the show’s ranking is likely to rise.
“In its second week among the top 10, “Is it Cake?: Is it Cake, Too?” landed in eighth place with 2.6 million total views, just below “Hack My Home,” which also had 2.6 million total views. The deciding factor between the two shows is the hours viewed, with “Is it Cake?” having 15.4 million hours watched compared to “Hack My Home’s” 11.9 million. The No. 8 title also has a longer runtime of 5.52 hours, while “Hack My Home” runs for 4.33 hours.
After its premiere on July 13, “Sonic Prime” Season 2 secured the last spot on the chart with a total of 2.4 million views.
