Paris Hilton is opening up about becoming a mom in a new season of “Paris In Love.” In the trailer, the 42-year-old talks about her decision to keep her journey to motherhood private until she was ready to share it.
She reveals that even her family had no idea. Scenes show her enjoying the holidays and expressing concerns about paparazzi if the news got out. The trailer captures moments of Hilton in the hospital, anxiously preparing for her baby boy’s arrival.
She shares the importance of keeping this experience to herself after dedicating her life to others for so long. Tearfully, she declares, “This is the first time that something’s just mine. I’m going to be a mom.”
Afterwards, the mom-of-one is happily spending time with her son Phoenix Barron, gushing to the camera, “He’s incredibly beautiful, absolutely perfect. Now my life feels whole. I’m totally obsessed.”
In a funny moment, she chuckles and says, “That’s hot,” when her naked newborn pees on her during a photoshoot.
Towards the end of the preview, Hilton sits with a therapist and discusses the challenges from her past affecting her as a new parent. The therapist shares, “People who have experienced trauma often find it difficult to connect with their children,” addressing the DJ mom.
Hilton and Reum, both 42, had their first child together on January 16, 2023, with the help of a surrogate. Despite tying the knot in late 2021, they kept their baby boy’s arrival a secret for more than a week.
Afterward, Hilton shared the news on Instagram, revealing their son Phoenix’s birth eight days later. She posted a close-up photo of herself holding his hand, expressing, “You are already loved so much.”
In July, Hilton shared with PEOPLE that she’s taking a break from work to be with her son.
“It’s a lot,” she said, “juggling everything I do and being a mom, but he’s my world and makes my life feel whole.”
“This is the best time of my life. He means everything to me, so I’ve been turning down many offers and opportunities to spend more time with him,” she explained about Phoenix.
“My priorities have totally changed, and I always prioritize him first.”
