The upcoming 12th season of “Letterkenny” will mark the end of the show, and it will be available on Hulu and Crave.
The announcement of the final season coincided with the release of the Canadian comedy’s last episodes. These episodes are set to be released on December 25 on Crave and December 26 on Hulu. The series, which is set in the fictional town of Letterkenny, Ontario, revolves around three groups of residents: the hicks, the skids, and the hockey players.
The official description of Season 12 reveals that the small town will grapple with various events, including a comedy night at Modean’s, a country music hit, the Degens’ bad influence, the opening of a new nightclub, and an encore at the Ag Hall. This season promises to be filled with humor and excitement.
Jared Keeso, the creator of the series who also stars as Wayne, leads the cast, which includes Nathan Dales, Michelle Mylett, K Trevor Wilson, Dylan Playfair, Andrew Herr, Tyler Johnston, Evan Stern, Mark Forward, and Tiio Horn.
“Letterkenny” originally premiered in 2016 as the inaugural original series for Crave, the Canadian streaming service owned by Bell Media. The show has aired 75 episodes to date, including seven holiday specials.
Jared Keeso holds multiple roles in the production, serving as the executive producer, co-writer, star, and creator. Jacob Tierney is an executive producer, director, and co-writer, while Mark Montefiore is an executive producer, and Kara Haflidson is the producer for New Metric Media. The series is produced by New Metric Media in association with Play Fun Games and Bell Media, with the participation of the Canadian Media Fund, the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation, and the Bell Fund. Additionally, the production received support from the Canadian Film or Video Production Tax Credit and Ontario Creates. The series is distributed by New Metric Media.
