Before the official TV premiere on Thursday, September 28th, fans of Heartland in Calgary or those willing to go to Calgary can catch a special screening of the Season 17 world premiere. CBC and Heartland are teaming up with the Calgary International Film Festival (CIFF) to show the first episode, which is also the 250th episode, at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium. After the screening, you’ll have the chance to participate in a live Q&A session with Amber Marshall, Shaun Johnston, Michelle Morgan, and Chris Potter in person.
Amber Marshall expressed her enthusiasm about the CIFF Heartland screening, saying, “When Heartland fans come together, there’s always an amazing vibe. Being able to share this experience with the cast, crew, and fans from around the world makes what we do even more special.”
Brian Owens, the Artistic Director of CIFF, also chimed in, “At CIFF, we’re thrilled to keep expanding our lineup to include fantastic TV shows. It’s a thrill to feature the well-loved Heartland at our festival. This addition has strong local connections and is sure to draw huge and enthusiastic crowds!”
