Henry Cavill has said that he will return to playing the part of Clark Kent, also known as Superman, in the DC Comics extended cinematic universe. This is something that fans who love movies with heroes have been waiting to hear.
Last week, Dwayne Johnson’s new DC superhero film “Black Adam” was released, and at the end of the credits, Henry Cavill donned the iconic red and blue suit and cape in a cameo.
Cavill’s first appearance as Superman since last year was in “Zack Snyder’s Justice League,” and before that, the 2017 film, “Justice League.”
In an Instagram post, Cavill shared a profile shot of himself as the timeless hero before appearing in a selfie video directly addressing his followers.
In the end-credits scene of “Black Adam”, Cavill sets up a future standoff between Superman and Johnson’s all-powerful character, Adam, clamoring many people are now begging for a standalone film surrounding Cavill’s Superman– which would be the first since 2013’s “Man of Steel”.
