Selena Gomez really loves Ariana Grande’s music! During her guest DJ appearance on SiriusXM Hits 1 on Wednesday, the 31-year-old actress from Only Murders in the Building couldn’t stop talking about how the 30-year-old “Thank U, Next” singer’s songs always lift her spirits. Before playing Grande’s 2019 hit “7 Rings,” Gomez admitted, “I can’t have any fun without listening to Ariana. She’s just amazing!”
“I feel really empowered, and I think she’s amazing, and I just have so much fun,” said the founder of Rare Beauty about her fellow pop star. “I’m the girl who always plays Ariana’s music, and I think people notice that, but I love it! I think she’s fantastic.”
More than three years after Grande released her latest album Positions, the star of Wicked made a comeback on Friday with a lively new single, “Yes, And?,” along with a music video.
Before the song’s release, the singer of “Dangerous Woman” shared a playful teaser on Instagram, showing a group of people gossiping about her comeback.
“Totally Ari being herself,” one person commented, and someone else chimed in, “I preferred her ponytail a bit higher.”
As the conversation continued about rumors about Grande, who is currently dating actor Ethan Slater, another person added, “I read it online, so it must be true.”
This week, Gomez shared on her Instagram Story that she’s taking a break from social media “for a while” to “focus on what really matters.”
She wrote words on a photo of her new boyfriend, producer Benny Blanco, who was lying on the ground playing with two small kids.
They revealed their relationship in December, and a source mentioned that Gomez is really happy and focused in this new romance.
Just a day after saying she’s taking a break from social media, Gomez came back to Instagram to share a cooking video with chef Gordon Ramsay on her Story.
In the 14-minute video, the star of Selena + Chef made a breakfast burger with scrambled eggs, turkey bacon, and more, alongside the famous cook, who is 57 years old.
