What do people think of Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy?
Redditors reacted to the season 2
I’m absolutely loving the first two episodes. They are so different from any other travel or food show I’ve seen before. Tucci’s approach is perfect: he focuses on classic regional foods and the social structures that surround them. He, along with the people he meets, reflect upon the food and their regions with joy, great pride, and a bittersweet blend of affection and wistfulness for home; something we can all relate to. Change is inevitable but this series shows how much our homes endure despite it all.

IMDb reviewer wrote:
Italy is an amazing country, and I was lucky enough to experience it firsthand with a chef who was born in Italy but raised in Canada. We started our trip in Naples and made our way through the region where they make mozzarella di bufala. The scenery was breathtaking, and we felt so connected to the land. The streets of Naples are very narrow, and it feels like Rome’s punk sister city–an incredible place that doesn’t get nearly enough credit. …The food looked amazing! Great job on choosing an excellent host and showcasing the local area. I loved that it was all in Italian with subtitles- very authentic. I’m looking forward to watching the rest of the episodes, and I hope Lazio will be featured prominently.
