On January 23, it was reported that, in Los Angeles, securing a reservation at the trendiest restaurants, which are booked months in advance, can be a competitive challenge, even for celebrities eager to savor the latest and greatest dishes. Chrissy Teigen and David Chang are addressing this issue by launching their new show, Chrissy & Dave Dine Out, where they invite viewers to join them and bypass the long waiting lists at these must-try Los Angeles restaurants.
Premiering on Freeform on Wednesday and Hulu on Thursday, Chrissy & Dave Dine Out showcases Joel Kim Booster from Fire Island and Loot. Booster joins forces with Teigen to host a lively dinner party with celebrity guests.
Meanwhile, David Chang, drawing from his decades of kitchen expertise, takes a behind-the-scenes role. He partners with the restaurant’s chef, offering insights into the background and evolution of each meal.
In the initial episode, Jimmy Kimmel and his wife, writer/producer Molly McNearney, will be the focus as they visit the popular Pizzeria Bianco in Los Angeles. Coming up in future episodes, viewers can expect appearances from John Legend, Kumail Nanjiani, Regina Hall, and Simu Liu.
Chang, renowned for launching the noodle bar Momofuku in Manhattan back in 2004, has remained active over the years. He has garnered Michelin stars, James Beard awards, and engaged in various activities such as writing, podcasting, and starring in his Netflix series, Ugly Delicious and The Chef Show.
Chrissy Teigen, known for her roles as an actress, host, and supermodel, has a strong connection with food. Through her Cravings cookbook and website, she shares recipes, introduces products, and collaborates with fellow food enthusiasts, chefs, and celebrities to celebrate comfort food.
