If you haven’t yet experienced Jury Duty, you’re seriously missing out. This offbeat show has quietly become a sensation on Prime Video, consistently ranking in the top ten for weeks. However, it seems like no one was really aware of its existence. It’s reached a point where, like me, you may have had a passionate friend corner you at a party and launch into an hour-long PowerPoint presentation on why you absolutely must watch the series. And then, unexpectedly, you found yourself becoming the presenter, spreading the word to others.
Assuming you’re currently reading this, I’m guessing you’ve already seen Jury Duty. It would be peculiar to click on an article about ranking the show’s jurors if you’ve never watched it. But hey, I won’t rain on your parade if you have no clue what’s going on. Everything you need to know is right here in this article. So go ahead and check it out, then come back.
If you want to watch Jury Duty on Amazon Prime in Canada, Europe, or anywhere else, here’s an easy way: use a VPN to connect to a US server, and you’ll be able to stream it.
Alright then, let’s talk about the jurors! Without a doubt, we all have an immense affection for Ronald Gladden, the one and only “real person” in this show. He possesses a pure heart, and it is my sincere plea to the universe that he doesn’t become an Eggboy and start spouting conspiracy theories or anti-vax propaganda. Let us have this one hero, please.
Moving on, we can’t deny our love for the brilliantly crafted and delightfully chaotic characters brought to life by the talented comedians and writers behind this series.
Ranking them proved to be quite a challenge for me. Should I base it on the people I’d want to be friends with if they were real? Because if that were the case, James Marsden, brilliantly portrayed by James Marsden himself (lol), would be excluded, and I genuinely adored his character. Or should I rank them based on their level of annoyance? But even when they’re being annoying, they remain incredibly endearing!
Feeling overwhelmed by this decision, I ultimately concluded that we should simply revel in the complete mayhem these characters bring to the table. So, here’s my personal ranking of the Jury Duty jurors, solely based on their ability to create chaos and havoc.
Pat
Pat (portrayed by Kirk Fox) is a character that I can barely recall; he simply exists in the background.
Lonnie
In Jury Duty, Lonnie (played by Ishmel Sahid) stood out as the most grounded and relatable juror. It was crucial to have some characters who appeared relatively normal in order to maintain believability, and Lonnie definitely fits that role. Compared to the rest of the jurors, Lonnie is undoubtedly the least chaotic.
Ravi
Ravi (portrayed by Pramode Kumar) is simply flawless. Although he’s relatively ordinary, he manages to surpass Lonnie in the rankings due to his exceptional talent for singing on the bus.
Vanessa
Vanessa (played by Cassandra Blair) is mostly normal, but we shouldn’t overlook the fact that she discloses her involvement with the Reddit Bureau of Investigations early on.
James Marsden
When it comes to the most outrageously chaotic character, no one can surpass James Marsden in his portrayal. Firstly, his character’s audacious act of summoning fake paparazzi to evade jury duty. Then, there’s the unforgettable moment when he ruthlessly punches Ross’ cake at the picnic. Let’s not forget the giant feces incident in Ron’s toilet, where he cunningly shifts the blame onto Ron himself (I must admit, the behind-the-scenes footage revealing the creation of that feces scene was quite amusing).
Oh, and who could overlook the “soaking” episode, where James Marsden’s character jumps on the bed? Many have argued that this was the exact moment when Ron fully grasped the setup, but personally, I can totally envision an arrogant, delusional Hollywood actor eagerly engaging in such soaking antics.

Honourary Mention: Bailiff Nikki
Bailiff Nikki (portrayed by Rashida Olayiwola) stands apart from the Jury Duty ranking for two reasons: a) she isn’t a juror, and b) she is nothing short of divine. We genuinely idolize her.
On another note, can we please have all of these actors cast in every production from this point forward? Thank you so much, Hollywood.
