Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s new documentary series on Netflix promises to give viewers a deeper look into the “pain and suffering” of women who marry into the British Royal family.
Netflix says that the six-episode documentary will see the couple “share the other side of their high-profile love story.”
When is Prince Harry and Meghan’s new documentary airing?
The documentary will release volume one of its series on 8, December 2022. The date marks exactly three months after Harry’s grandmother Queen Elizabeth II passed away.
Netflix says to expect to see Vol Two of the documentary on 15, December 2022.

“There’s a hierarchy of the family, you know, there’s leaking, but there’s also planting of stories. It’s a dirty game.”
He alludes to the pain and suffering faced by his late mother Princess Diana as well as his wife Meghan Markle:
“The pain and suffering of women marrying into this institution, this feeding frenzy. I was terrified, I didn’t want history to repeat itself. No one knows the full truth. We know the full truth.”
The trailer also features rare photos that offer an intimate look at the sadness and pain suffered by the Duchess. In one shot, viewers can picture her wiping her tears away with both hands.
The Netflix series will prompt renewed discussions on the politics and attitude of Buckingham Palace, which continues to get a bad rep in the press. Only a few months ago, a charity founder was questioned about her heritage by Lady Susan Hussey, one of the late Queen’s ladies-in-waiting. Her remarks have been condemned by the palace since then.
Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle announced a multi-year deal to make TV series, children’s shows, and films with their production company Archewell for Netflix in September 2020.
