Yesterday, an ex-nanny who looked after Olivia Wilde’s kids alleged that Wilde dumped Jason Sudeikis for Harry Styles shortly after she started filming Don’t Worry Darling.
According to the nanny, who made a number of other claims to The Daily Mail, Wilde made ‘the move on’ Styles. She also claimed that Sudeikis banned Style’s music in the house once he found out about the alleged affair.
Jason Sudeikis and Wilde hit back
The ex-partners have come out with a joint statement that calls the ex-nanny’s claims “false and scurrilous”. They further said that these accusations are part of an 18-month campaign against them.
Their joint statement reads:
“As parents, it is incredibly upsetting to learn that a former nanny of our two young children would choose to make such false and scurrilous accusations about us publicly.”
“Her now 18-month-long campaign of harassing us, as well as loved ones, close friends and colleagues, has reached its unfortunate apex. We will continue to focus on raising and protecting our children with the sincere hope that she will now choose to leave our family alone.”
Nanny’s claims
The babysitter further alleges that tensions between the ex-partners escalated when Wilde, Styles and Sudeikis were present for a dinner in the house. She says that Sudeikis did not like how Wilde was making her “special dressing” for a salad for Styles, adding that he threw himself under her car in frustration.
The nanny capped off these allegations by saying that Jason Sudeikis is the reason why she was fired soon afterward. She says he was drunk and enraged at the time and had found out that she allegedly texted Wilde about his behavior.
It seems that the drama surrounding the Don’t Worry Darling stars refuses to die down, an observation that industry pundits say is fueling the hype behind the Olivia Wilde directorial debut. As for Jason Sudeikis, he will be reprising his role in Ted Lasso season 3, though there have been no new updates on that front.
